Dining-Room-I

Our Swedish breakfast buffet is served each morning to our guests and to the public.  We serve from 7 to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday, and 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.  The breakfast is included in a nights stay and is available to the public for $7 per person.

The menu is the type of breakfast found throughout Sweden whether you are in a large hotel, small country inn or a guest in a Swedish home.  Our breakfast includes Swedish meatballs, lingonberries, eggs, porridge, cheese, cold meats, pickled herring, fruit, vegetables, waffles with lingonberry syrup and the best rye bread in Lindsborg.  Freshly ground coffee accompanies this beautiful breakfast.

Skorpor translates to “toast”.  The following is an old Swedish recipe that was brought to Lindsborg by the first Swedish immigrants in 1869.  These are available in our lobby to enjoy with coffee or tea or they may be purchased to take home.
